We have already seen a few All-Stars show up during the games and now one of the biggest basketball coaches of all time has made an appearance.

The Las Vegas Aces defeated the Connecticut Suns, 85-71, in Game 2 of the WNBA Finals on Tuesday.
There were many people rooting the Aces on, including San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich.
Pop showed up to give a pep talk to the team and support his close friend and former assistant coach Becky Hammon.
Hammon is now the coach of the Aces and learned quite a few things from Popovich when she worked for him.
The two got along incredibly well and there were many who predicted she would be the one to replace him when he retired.
With all the success Hammon has found in the WNBA, that seems unlikely now.
Hammon’s Hard Work
Popovich has been fond of Hammon for years and valued his time working with her.
He relied on her a lot and greatly appreciated her skills and knowledge.
In fact, Hammon became the first woman to coach an NBA team when Popovich was ejected from a game in 2020.
Since leaving the Spurs for the WNBA, Hammon has been terrific with the Aces.
Still, some wonder if she will ever come back to the association and lead a team – and make history.
Inside reports have said that Popovich viewed Hammon as his heir apparent but with his retirement looming and her success booming, it doesn’t seem like her trip back to the NBA will happen soon.
