Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks isn’t waiting for the new NBA season to start to begin shining.
The Slovenian wonder is working for this country’s basketball team in the EuroBasket tournament right now and is, unsurprisingly, amazing.
In preparation of Slovenia vs Poland today, here’s Luka Dončić scoring the most points in Eurobasket in 65 years.

In fact, Doncic scored the most points in the games in 65 years when he notched 47 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals.
A highlight reel of Doncic’s powerhouse performance was fun to watch, as he put up wild shots and moved with speed and energy and terrific authority against others.
Doncic’s time overseas is obviously great for fans of the Mavs because he has never been so athletic, healthy, and driven during the offseason.
When the new season starts next month, Doncic will be primed and ready to tear through the rest of the league.
Doncic Doing It
There are many who think that the upcoming season could belong to Doncic.
Several betting sites predict that he could claim his first MVP trophy by the time the 2022-23 season concludes.
His previous year in the league was incredible with a 28.4, 9.1, and 8.7 average and his first trip to the Western Conference Finals.
Doncic had never even made it out of the first round of the playoffs before and he ended up taking on the eventual champions, the Warriors, in the WCF.
While the Mavericks might have a few great talents on the team, there is no doubt that Doncic is the franchise’s face and star.
The better he gets, the better Dallas gets too.
In the new season, all eyes will be on Doncic to see if his upward trajectory continues.
He is infamous for being a little out of shape when the NBA year begins but that certainly isn’t the case now – Doncic has never been so prepared to storm into the season.
