Not only did the New York Jets finally land future Hall-of-Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers in a trade with the Green Bay Packers, but they’re starting to look a little like the East Coast version of the Packers.
Just prior to landing Rodgers, they brought in wide receiver Allen Lazard, one of Rodgers’ favorite targets in Green Bay over the last few years.
The Jets also acquired wideout Malik Taylor, offensive tackle Billy Turner, and reserve QB Tim Boyle while also signing Nathaniel Hackett, Rodgers’ former offensive coordinator, to man that spot.
Then on Wednesday, it was announced that they also added Randall Cobb, another wideout who has played with Rodgers on the Packers.

Cobb has played 12 seasons in the NFL, and 10 of them have been with Green Bay, including the last two years.
He isn’t a very prolific receiver — he posted just 417 yards and one touchdown on 34 receptions in 13 games last year — but he will add depth, as well as continuity to New York’s WR room.
Indeed, the team’s offense will rise or fall on the growing talents of wideout Garrett Wilson, who is the reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year and put up 1,103 yards and four touchdowns in 2022.
Will Wilson improve his production and bring Rodgers memories of Davante Adams, who was traded to the Las Vegas Raiders last offseason?
Rodgers said that Wilson actually reminds him a little of Adams.
Aaron Rodgers compared Garrett Wilson to Davante Adams today 👀
"He's a talented guy. I threw him a pass today and kind of turned and was like, 'Wow.'"

It will be an interesting and likely an exciting year for the Jets and their fans, as the team hopes to return to the playoffs for the first time since 2010.
