Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics is working hard on making himself a better player, which is very commendable.
But that won’t stop an old friend and former teammate from making fun of him.
A video of Tatum lifting weights in the gym was released by the Celtics on social media.
Shortly thereafter, former Celtics star Grant Williams hopped on Twitter to ridicule his old teammate.
“That’s it? Add more plates,” Williams said, tagging Tatum in his post.
That’s it? Add more plates @jaytatum0🙄

This is a funny moment between the two players, who spent four years together on the Celtics.
They shared many moments and close games during that time.
However, Williams’ time in Boston has now come to an end.
The forward was sent to the Dallas Mavericks as part of a big three-team trade a couple of months ago.
During his last season with the Celtics, Williams produced 8.1 points and 4.6 rebounds a game.
He shot 45.4% from the floor and 39.5% from the three-point line.
He started in 23 of his 79 games in 2022-23 and there is a good chance he will have even more responsibilities while in Dallas.
In many ways, his recent move to the Mavericks might be great for Williams’ career.
He could get more opportunities to shine and may also get a lot more time on the court.
Over the last few years, he’s been one of Boston’s most fierce and hard-working players.
He hasn’t been afraid of defending hard and has prided himself as a perimeter threat too.
He could evolve even more with the Mavericks.
His time with the Celtics might be over but Williams is clearly still very close with his old teammate.
