On Wednesday, the San Francisco Giants were unable to get much length out of starter Anthony DeSclafani.
The veteran right-hander managed to get through just three innings, allowing five runs.
But after his exit, the Giants turned to their bullpen.
Jakob Junis, Taylor Rogers, Ryan Walker, Tyler Rogers, and Camilo Doval combined for 10 strikeouts over seven scoreless frames.
Tyler Rogers earned the win and Doval ended up notching his 18th save of the season as the Giants rallied late to pull off an 8-5 win over the St. Louis Cardinals.
The Giants also pulled off a sweep.
On Twitter, the team posted a compilation video featuring all the hard work from their core of relievers on Wednesday.

The bullpen is ultimately what kept the Giants in the ballgame.
They jumped out to an early 2-0 lead before falling behind thanks to Tommy Edman’s grand slam and Jordan Walker’s RBI single.
San Francisco came to within one strike of a loss before Mike Yastrzemski tied the game with a two-run homer.
Rogers worked a scoreless bottom of the ninth to set up a three-run 10th inning against Steven Matz.
In the end, it was enough for Doval to hold off the slumping Cardinals and earn the save, securing a sweep for the Giants.
But the bullpen helped save the day for San Francisco as they won their fourth consecutive game, improving to 36-32 on the season.
Seven scoreless frames and 10 strikeouts is certainly impressive work, and it was enough to hold off the woeful Cardinals.
