The New York Giants are a historic franchise.
The team is fresh off of celebrating their 100th season, a milestone that few teams have achieved.
While the Giants have a rich history, one that has included championships along the way, the past few seasons haven’t been the kindest to them or their fans.
The Giants have only made the playoffs twice in the past decade, a vast departure from their dominance in the mid-late 2000s and early 2010s.
With that in mind, the current regime and ownership group might want to look into other options moving forward, as it appears that they are looking to sell off some shares of the team.
According to the Giants via Ari Meirov, both the Mara and Tisch families have started the process of selling a non-controlling stake in the team.

It’s unclear what percentage of the team that would be, and how much it would cost for someone to get in on the Giants.
While that much is unknown, fans are well aware that something needs to change within this organization.
What they’ve done over the past few seasons hasn’t gone according to plan, especially when they signed Daniel Jones to a massive extension.
Perhaps some new leadership can provide fresh eyes to the Mara and Tisch families, hoping to give insight as to what the team can do moving forward to improve their standing.
If they stay the course, fans might be in for more of the same for the foreseeable future.
