Sports are fun, but they get even better when fantasy leagues are brought into the equation.
Fantasy football is the most popular of the fantasy sports in our society today.
The winners of each league are typically rewarded with a little something special, while the losers have to serve a little bit of “punishment.”
That is what happened on Monday night.
Last year, broadcasters of the San Francisco Giants took part in a fantasy football league.
Dave Flemming, who is one of the Giants’ broadcasters, finished in last place.
To pay the price for his disappointing season, Flemming served as a bat boy on Monday night for the Giants.
On Twitter, the site “Awful Announcing” posted a video of him in his Giants uniform serving as the bat boy.

Flemming didn’t appear to be getting many breaks, if any at all.
He was decked out head to toe in a Giants uniform and was working in the third base dugout as the team’s bat boy.
He brought baseballs to the home plate umpire and also was forced to retrieve a stray ball and bring it back to the dugout.
The announcers discussed this, with color analyst Mike Krukow asking if Flemming had lost a bet.
Play-by-play announcer Dane Kuiper revealed the reason why Flemming was serving as a bat boy, and that it had everything to do with the fact that he lost the fantasy football league.
The announcer joked that he was “having the time of his life.”
