Like many fans, Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks has some issues with the NBA media.
Speaking on his brother’s podcast, the Bucks superstar talked about how hot and cold the media is when it comes to him and his team.
In a video shared by Legion Hoops, Antetokounmpo said the media praises his team and says they are on a roll when they win.
But the moment they lose, those very same media members say Antetokounmpo is a bad teammate, cannot lead, and the Bucks are utter trash.
He said the back and forth gives him whiplash and is hard to keep up with.

Antetokounmpo and his team have experienced it all this season.
The Bucks got off to a very bad start in 2024-25, and it looked like they were headed to one of their worst seasons in years.
However, they eventually found their rhythm and gained a solid footing in the Eastern Conference.
They currently have a 13-11 record and are the sixth team in their conference.
And while Antetokounmpo isn’t happy with the inconsistent views of the media, he has mostly received praise all year, even during the team’s worst stretches.
In fact, he is still one of the frontrunners for MVP, which isn’t surprising since he is putting up 32.7 points, 11.4 rebounds, and 6.0 assists per game.
If Antetokounmpo and his team keep it up, he won’t hear a lot of negative reviews over the next few months.
Instead, he will likely read how his team started in bad shape, didn’t lose faith, and was able to get it together.
