There are some NBA teams having rocky starts to the season (the Los Angeles Lakers and Philadelphia 76ers and Brooklyn Nets come to mind) and then there are some having great starts.
The Milwaukee Bucks are the only undefeated team still in the league.
And the team’s leader, Giannis Antetokounmpo, has been playing inspired basketball.
If the MVP award was handed today, Giannis should be the unanimous winner.

So far, his average is 36 points, 13 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 2 blocks per game.
Meanwhile, he is shooting at 67.7% from the field and 40% from the three-point line.
Antetokounmpo has long said that this was going to be a huge season for him and his team and, so far, he is proving that is the truth.
Will he be able to keep it up?
MVP Trophy Incoming?
Antetokounmpo wants to win the MVP trophy again this year.
The competition for that award is tough and there are others (Luka Doncic and Ja Morant, for example) angling to win it too but Antetokounmpo might be the frontrunner right now.
But the thing that Antetokounmpo really wants is another Larry O’Brien Trophy victory – he wants to win the Finals.
If he keeps performing like this, the chances of that happening are quite high.
Antetokounmpo is not alone, the rest of his team is playing great basketball too – although all teammates are overshadowed by the pure force of The Greek Freak.
Remember, the Bucks are finding all of this success without key player Khris Middleton, who is still recovering from an injury.
That means that Milwaukee may only get better as the season goes on.
There are many fun storylines to follow in the NBA right now but the dominant performance of Antetokounmpo so far is easily one of the best.
And it might only get better.
