Vogel wasn’t surprised by Durant’s phenomenal performance during overtime as the veteran head coach claimed that the 2x NBA champion is always ready for the big moment.
Durant’s talent was proven against the Nuggets as the former NBA MVP struggled to shoot in the fourth quarter.
Despite missing five straight three-pointers, Durant forced overtime with a phenomenal deep shot in the final seconds of the game.
Following the final shot of regulation time, Durant hit his stride and went on to outscore the Nuggets, 8-5.
Kevin Durant finished the game with 35 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists for the Suns.
Although Durant shot an underwhelming 14-34 from the field, including 3-8 from the three-point line, he found his rhythm when it mattered the most.
