The New York Mets are having a banner season so far.
They’ve won five straight games and lead the National League East by seven games with a 72-39 record.
One of their key contributors, Francisco Lindor, has been having a solid season as well.
The 28-year-old star shortstop is hitting .268 with 20 homers, 79 RBI, and an .806 OPS.
In fact, he’s on quite a streak right now too.
He has both driven in a run and scored a run in each of his last 10 games.
One fan on Twitter posted a screenshot of an all-exclusive list Lindor has joined courtesy of the Elias Sports Bureau.
Thanks to the great Randy Robles of @EliasSports for this, Francisco Lindor is the 12th player (13th occurrence) since the RBI stat was tracked in 1920, to have streaks of 10+ games with a run scored and 10+ games of driving in a run.

Lindor In Elite Company
Lindor has joined a list of legends, a list which includes players such as Babe Ruth, Joe DiMaggio, Ted Williams, Lou Gehrig, Rogers Hornsby, Joe Morgan, and several other greats.
That’s a lot of legends on one list, a list which Lindor is now a part of.
This is some great company to be in.
Lindor is red-hot at the plate, driving in plenty of runs, while also scoring plenty of runs when he’s out on the basepaths.
He’s a threat at the plate and on the bases.
The switch-hitting shortstop struggled in his first year with the Mets after being traded over by the then-Cleveland Indians, but it appears that Mr. Smile is back and is once again performing like a superstar.
And not only is he performing like he used to, but he has also joined an impressive list of some MLB greats.
He’s the first player to join this list since Bobby Abreu joined it back in 2005.
That’s a long time, but now Lindor is the newest member of the club.
