After a tough start to the 2023 NFL season, the Las Vegas Raiders were able to pick themselves up and get right back into the playoff mix.
The Raiders are coming off a Week 6 victory against the New England Patriots and have another easy matchup on paper in Week 7 when they take on the Chicago Bears.
There’s a real possibility that Las Vegas improves to 4-3 and with that becoming a serious threat to claim a Wild Card spot.
Although the Raiders beat the Patriots, they did it without Davante Adams who wasn’t able to get much going against a defense that was scheming to slow him down.
Adams expressed some of his frustrations this week, saying he wants to be more involved and that he needs to prove what he can do on tape.
Although some people took this as the star receiver being selfish, people like James Jones came to his defense via Speak.
“Davante Adams doesn’t have a selfish bone in his body. I’m with Tae, find ways to get him the ball,” Jones said.

Jones has a personal relationship with Adams, so it’s not surprising to see him support him.
It’s easy to misconstrue Adams’ comments, but in reality, he’s been nothing but a good teammate and member of the Raiders organization since he joined them.
Adams is one of the best receivers in the NFL today and he should be drawing more targets in the offense considering what he can do when he gets his hands on the football.
After all this buzz, Josh McDaniels almost has no choice but to draw up more plays for Adams this week against the Bears.
