The Las Vegas Raiders have picked things up in recent weeks as they’ve got back-to-back wins to their name and another winnable game on Sunday against the Chicago Bears.
The Raiders have been able to cobble together wins on the back of their defense as they’ve made timely plays late in games.
Offensively, however, there’s some room for improvement as Las Vegas hasn’t been able to find too much of a rhythm.
Jakobi Meyers has been a bright spot, serving as the lead receiver for the team on some weeks which is impressive considering Davante Adams is on the roster.
Adams had a quiet game in the team’s win against the New England Patriots as he was clearly the focus of Bill Belichick’s defensive game plan.
Although Las Vegas has been winning, Adams recently came out and said that his benchmark is greatness which rubbed Emmanuel Acho the wrong way via Speak.
“I have a problem with Davante Adams’ comments because it reads to me selfish,” Acho said.

Adams is a fierce competitor who plays with a chip on his shoulder despite being widely regarded as one of the best receivers in the NFL today.
However, it’s hard not to read into his comments like Acho did as players are generally focused more on winning rather than their own individual accolades.
There’s no denying the immense talent that Adams has and how he can help the Raiders win, but it does raise some eyebrows about what his main priorities are.
Hopefully, this doesn’t cause more of a distraction as Las Vegas has some momentum and can actually threaten to take a Wild Card spot.
