Seriously, Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is not one of the top ten players at his position?
That is what NFL executives, coaches, scouts, and players have decided based on a recent poll.
It’s foolish to think that a former league MVP isn’t higher on the list and is rather an honorable mention.
Are they holding him guilty for the Ravens’ dismal postseason record since he became the team’s starting quarterback?
But what about his performance last season wherein he had to figuratively carry the team on his shoulders to give them a fighting chance?
Despite losing several of their key players to injury, the Ravens were leading the AFC in early December.
That’s why it is no surprise that they ceased winning when even he succumbed to an ankle injury.
Jackson should use this list as motivation to unleash another MVP-caliber season.
Former NFL players like Ryan Clark are vouching for the only quarterback in NFL history with multiple 1,000-yard rushing seasons.
People might say I’m caping for @Lj_era8, but to me it’s common sense. Any other qb with his impact, his success, his overall statistics would be worshipped. Yet, we are discussing why he isn’t in the top 10 QBs. The 3 other former MVPs are in the top 4. Guess I’m dumb though!

Jackson Is An Elite Quarterback
Yes, his completion percentage isn’t on par with some of the better quarterbacks.
His passing yards and touchdowns are not at the same level as typical drop-back play-callers.
But he affects the game in more ways than one.
Likewise, he should be at a higher spot if Dak Prescott is at number ten.
