The Houston Astros 2017 sign-stealing scandal is something that still permeates throughout the baseball world.
Ever since Commissioner Rob Manfred failed to properly punish them for their scandal, fans have been angry and frustrated about what happened, citing that players who have been suspended since the ruling for other issues have been punished more harshly than the Astros ever were.
The manager of that team, A.J. Hinch, is now managing the Detroit Tigers.
His bench coach from that season, Alex Cora, left to manage the Boston Red Sox, where he would guide them to a World Series win in his first season with them.
On Wednesday, before the game between the Red Sox and Tigers, the two former Astros coaches were photographed talking to one another and catching up.

What Happened With Cora And Hinch?
After the punishment for the sign-stealing scandal was handed down, both Cora and Hinch were let go by the Red Sox and Astros, respectively.
Cora has since returned to his position as manager of the Red Sox, but interestingly enough, the Red Sox had their own sign-stealing scandal in 2018, Cora’s first year as manager, that came to light during the Astros investigation.
Needless to say, a lot has happened for these two men over the past several years.
Both were let go from their positions and suspended for a full year before Cora returned to the Red Sox and Hinch was signed by the Tigers.
But today, they were seen catching up during batting practice.
It’s anyone’s guess as to what they were discussing.
Obviously, the two of them are great friends from their time together in Houston, but their lives have been a whirlwind ever since news of the Astros scandal broke.
