The Phoenix Suns have a new head coach and are ready to come back from another disappointing postseason.
On Friday morning, Adrian Wojnarowski reported that Frank Vogel would be leading the Suns when the 2023-24 season begins in the fall.
Vogel, once a coach for the Indiana Pacers and Los Angeles Lakers, has both many fans and many critics too.
All of them came out to post their opinions online on Friday following the news of his hiring.

There were plenty of people celebrating Vogel and calling him a good coach.
But they also noted that he will have his work cut out for him.
The Suns will need to improve their defense and create a stronger roster with more complementary players to perform alongside Kevin Durant and Devin Booker.
I know a lot of fans will criticize this hire, but Vogel is a good coach. The Suns should have a good defense. On offense, it will be up to Booker and KD to carry them. It will also be on the front office to get complimentary players like the Lakers had in 2020.

Multiple people came out to support Vogel.
They still feel that his firing from the Lakers was undeserved and they are hoping for the best for him with his new team.
Happy that Frank got a job again, he’s deserved one for a while

Should still be with LA

Great hire! Lakers did our guy dirty. Important to get defensive personnel on the roster now.

Although there was a lot of support for Vogel online after Wojnarowski’s story, there were also people who said he isn’t the right choice to lead the Suns.
Yeah, this is gonna go well…

And another Suns rebuild failure has happened

No matter their opinion of Vogel, everyone agrees that he has a tough job ahead.
After their trade for Durant, fans of the Suns are expecting great things.
Anything less than a strong playoff run will leave them disappointed.
They are a team built to win it all and if they don’t, people will talk about making big changes.
Monty Williams is well aware of that.
Vogel is getting a lot of support from fans and now he is going to try to get a lot of wins too.
