The Phoenix Suns made two big moves to begin this season.
First, they changed coaches by moving on from Frank Vogel to Mike Budenholzer.
Then, they finally acquired a traditional point guard by landing Tyus Jones.
Whether it was having a pass-first point guard or a new coach, the fact of the matter is that the Suns look like a massive problem to the rest of the league right now.
As pointed out by NBA Central on X, they’re 8-1 to start the season, and it didn’t take long before countless fans took to social media to share their thoughts on that matter.

The Suns got their most impressive win of the season yet by storming back in the second half to beat the Dallas Mavericks on the road.
This team didn’t have a lot of wiggle room to make moves in the offseason, but they surely made the most of their chances.
They didn’t need to make that many moves either, given all the talent they had in their ranks.
It’s still early in the season, but they’re well-coached, their offense is balanced, and they’re also playing hard-nosed defense.
This Suns team is supposed to compete for an NBA championship, and their performances last season didn’t live up to that.
It may have taken them a little longer than they wanted, but if they keep playing this brand of basketball, this might finally be their year.
