Russell Westbrook has made his way to the Denver Nuggets and is ready to prove to the fans that he was a smart signing for the team.
Westbrook has plenty of time to leave a good impression on the roster but, so far, he isn’t blowing anyone away.
According to NBACentral, Westbrook is averaging just 4 points so far this season.
He is shooting 11.1% from the field and surprisingly also 11.1% from the three-point line.
On top of that, his plus-minus rating is -37, which is the worst among all Nuggets players.
Fans let Westbrook hear it on Monday morning and many people are quickly losing any form of faith in the nine-time All-Star.

There is a chorus of people who think it’s time for Westbrook to retire.
He has done a lot for the NBA during his 16 years but fans have grown more and more upset with his output over the last several seasons.
But despite these cries from a growing number of people, it’s unlikely Westbrook will listen to them and hang up his jersey.
No disrespect, but he’s gotta retire. He’s make 3 consecutive teams worse and it’s supposedly never his fault.

The word “washed” was used a lot online when talking about Westbrook’s first two games.
Will Westbrook use this criticism as fuel to play better in the future?
And they thought the Clippers letting him go was a bad idea ??
He’s washed. Great guy but washed

But not everyone has given up on Westbrook, with certain fans saying that he just needs time to adjust to his new team and will be in prime form soon.
Not washed. Give him time to adjust

Give him some time and he'll probably be decent enough midway into the season.

Will Westbrook be able to help the Nuggets out when they reach the playoffs?
More importantly, will the Nuggets even reach the postseason after this disappointing 0-2 start?
Luckily for him, there is more than enough time for Westbrook to make this bad beginning a distant memory.
