The Phoenix Suns are going through a bit of a transition right now.
New owner Mat Ishbia wants to make sure the team stays competitive at the highest level for years to come, and he’s taking a hands-on approach to achieve that.
The Robert Sarver era wasn’t exactly successful, and Ishbia hit the ground running by trading for Kevin Durant in his very first week as their new owner, then doubling down on that gamble by acquiring Bradley Beal in the offseason.
More than that, the Suns are also getting a fresh look for the upcoming campaign, and fans took to Twitter to share their reactions to their brand-new jerseys (via The Dunk Central).

These new threads are quite fresh.
They keep the Suns’ old-school logo and feel but bring it to a much more modern era.
Of course, none of that will matter unless the team actually starts winning on the court.
They undeniably have the most stacked starting lineup in the league, featuring the likes of Bradley Beal, Devin Booker, Kevin Durant, and Deandre Ayton.
They also added plenty of depth in the early hours of the offseason, and while they didn’t exactly bring in any other star, they did acquire multiple switchable defenders with long wingspans and the ability to knock down shots from beyond the arc.
The Suns still lack a true pass-first kind of playmaker and point guard, as neither Booker nor Beal are naturals at the position.
But as things stand now, they should be the undisputed favorite to win the whole thing next season.
