The New Orleans Saints got the quarterback they were looking for.
Derek Carr is ready to take over in the Big Easy and lead the team through one of the weakest divisions in the National Football League.
But that won’t be easy unless they get one of their best players back on the field, and we mean it for real this time.
Michael Thomas went from being one of the prime wideouts in the league to be a rare sight on the gridiron, which is why some doubt he’ll ever come back to his former level.
That’s why he took to social media to prove that he’s still got it, posting a video on Instagram to show off a video of him deadlifting a whopping 530 pounds as if it were nothing.

Needless to say, fans on the internet didn’t wait for long before all kinds of comments flooded social media, with some happy about his recovery process and others still skeptical about his ability to stay healthy.

It’s been three seasons since Thomas last played a full campaign, missing all but three games in 2022 due to a foot injury, and playing a grand total of 10 games since 2020.NEXT: The Saints Will Meet With A Notable QB Prospect On Tuesday
