On Thursday night, the Golden State Warriors sailed past the Los Angeles Lakers with a monstrous 127-100 win in San Francisco.
That evened the series, 1-1, before it heads to Los Angeles.
Klay Thompson led his team with 30 points and 8 three-pointers.
As noted by ESPN, this was his sixth career playoff game with 8+ threes — the most all-time.

After some inconsistency during the season, Thompson was again a superstar for the Warriors.
This got NBA fans on Twitter talking.
Some people were concerned that Thompson wouldn’t remain consistent.
In the 2022-23 regular season, Thompson averaged 4.4 threes per game, so the statistics suggest he won’t be this hot again in the next game.
But will klay do this game 3 he been streaky

Several people pointed out that Thompson will need to keep coming through for the Warriors, especially because the Lakers have been doubling Stephen Curry defensively.
With Curry’s output being limited, Thompson will have to continue performing well.
With Curry getting doubled, Klay needs to step up big the rest of this series

Others pointed out that the Lakers are still in a good position after this loss because they got a road win with Game 1.
Lakers still got a split, that's what they wanted.

And others flat-out denied any chance of Thompson being so successful from the three-point line again in the next game.
That will NOT happen Saturday.

While most teams might not deliver from downtown in consecutive games, the Warriors have shown that they can.
In each of the last two games, they have made 21 threes.
It is true that Thompson might not be as good in Game 3, but there is a strong chance that another player may step up and lead.
Thompson did his part in Game 2 — which Warrior will do theirs in Game 3?
