The NBA was well-represented in the 2023 FIBA World Cup as almost every roster had a player in the league on it.
Team USA didn’t send its superstars out for the tournament which ended up being their undoing as they lost in the bronze medal game to Canada.
Canada featured Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Dillon Brooks, and a host of other NBA talents to beat America in a thrilling overtime game.
Meanwhile, Germany and Serbia faced off in the gold medal match, and the former won in a close game.
Germany took home the gold with an 83-77 win and kept their FIBA World Cup record flawless.
When the game was over, fans took to social media to share their reactions and congratulate Germany on the well-deserved victory via the FIBA World Cup Twitter account.

Dennis Schroder led the way for the German national team with 28 points on 9-of-17 shooting from the field to go along with two rebounds and two assists.
Schroder had been having a strong FIBA run and he saved his best for last as he was the primary offensive option for Germany against a tough Serbian team.
Flanking Schroder was Franz Wagner who pitched in with 19 points on an inefficient 4-of-11 shooting but he did add seven rebounds and three steals.
On the Serbian side, Aleksa Avramovic had 21 points while Bogdan Bogdanovic had 17 points of his own.
It was clear that Germany was the best overall team in FIBA and they showed it with a masterful two-way performance against Serbia.
