Although Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James has established himself as one of the greatest NBA players to ever step foot on the hardwood, he could have very well taken his talents to the NFL.
During his high school days, James was a star wide receiver who could have gotten offers had he decided to stick with football.
However, James made the wise decision to keep at it with basketball and his life has changed forever as he is now a four-time NBA champion as well as the league’s all-time leading scorer.
Even though the King’s life revolves around basketball, he still keeps tabs on football at all levels.
For example, he was one of the many across the nation watching Colorado take down Nebraska to earn their second win of the 2023 season.
Shortly after Colorado’s win, James made sure to shout out head coach Deion Sanders and his record via his Twitter account.
PRIME TIME!!!!! 2-0

Sanders shocked the nation when his team upset TCU in Week 1 and they followed it up with another impressive victory over Nebraska.
James has previously talked about his respect and admiration for Sanders and that is evident here again as he’s taken note of how he’s fared through two weeks.
It’s early in the year, but Sanders has Colorado looking like more of a threat in the Pac-12 and there’s reason to believe that they could continue on this run.
Like James, fans are eager to see how much longer Sanders can keep Colorado in the conversation for one of the best teams in the country.
