The Chicago Bulls had big expectations when they teamed up Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan, Lonzo Ball, and Nikola Vucevic.
Two years ago, they were seen as a solid team in the Eastern Conference but after two seasons, the team is no better than a play-in squad.
Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan have been unable to lead them to a deep playoff run, which has started to create doubt about this team and its ceiling.
LaVine has been mentioned in potential trades around the league, and executives around the association don’t think he’ll complete his contract with the Bulls, per NBC Sports via NBA Central.

LaVine was expected to become the leader of this team and lead them to compete for big things after so many failed seasons.
Unfortunately, things haven’t changed for him and his team, as Chicago remains a mid-table team with no aspirations to compete for something more.
The Bulls are still trying to relive old glories, but after Derrick Rose started struggling with injuries, all the hope they had vanished.
Now, Chicago is once again on the verge of breaking up their roster and seeing how they can improve in free agency and the NBA Draft.
The front office has a lot of work to do if they want to be competitive again.
Lonzo Ball could miss a big chunk of the entire 2023-24 season, adding another missed campaign to his resume.
Chicago had big plans when they landed DeRozan two years ago, and now they’re on the verge of rebuilding once again.
