Things were supposed to be different for the Milwaukee Bucks this season.
After falling early in the playoffs last year, many expected the Bucks to reload in the offseason, building their roster to compete and be one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference again.
While it’s early on in the year, things aren’t looking great for the Bucks through five games.
With their recent blowout loss to the Memphis Grizzlies, the NBA Central account X highlighted that the Bucks are 1-4 on the year.

This poor start has not only raised a lot of questions about Giannis Antetokounmpo’s future status with the organization but also about Doc Rivers as head coach.
Fans were particularly critical of Coach Rivers after their loss to the Grizzlies, which they made loud and clear on social media.

Maybe they should switch out Doc Rivers with Adrian Griffin?? ?

Many fans have called for a change in the coaching staff, with some indicating that the team should check in on Adrian Griffin.
Griffin, of course, was surprisingly fired last season after a strong start with this team.
They seemingly can’t go back to him at this point, but if Rivers doesn’t start winning, the fan response isn’t going to get much better.
Winning is the best medicine for a coach to get back into the good graces of fans, and Rivers doesn’t have that right now.
It doesn’t help that his star player is rumored to be looking to move to another team in the league, which could have his attention divided.
