Thursday morning brought the NBA world a bombshell that has everyone talking.
A report from Bill Reiter of CBS Sports said that Giannis Antetokounmpo could ask for a trade from the Milwaukee Bucks if the team doesn’t perform much better this season.
Even though a trade demand hasn’t been made yet, Reiter said a few teams are standing out as preferred destinations if Antetokounmpo asks to cut ties with the Bucks.
According to the NBACentral, the Miami Heat or Brooklyn Nets could be the next home of Antetokounmpo.
With this major revelation, Bucks fans are wondering if there is anything that can stop Antetokounmpo from saying goodbye to Milwaukee.

The Bucks have a 1-3 record even with both Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard healthy and playing well together.
It goes without saying that something still isn’t clicking in Milwaukee and that has Antetokounmpo contemplating what’s ahead for him.
The team has suffered a couple of embarrassing defeats to the Chicago Bulls and Nets, further proving that their defense is still a huge problem area and not much has changed despite all their talent.
This report suggests that Antetokounmpo has given serious thought to leaving the team and is thinking about a future outside of Milwaukee.
The Bucks’ front office doesn’t want it to come to that, of course, so they will do everything they can to persuade him to stay – but it might be too late.
If Antetokounmpo is already thinking about moving to the Heat or Nets, it’ll be very hard to keep him in Milwaukee unless the Bucks go incredibly far in the playoffs.
There is no room for error and anything short of resounding success will probably set the stage for Antetokounmpo’s departure.
For years, the idea of Antetokounmpo leaving the Bucks has felt possible but not probable but now it seems much more likely, if not inevitable.
