One of the most polarizing teams heading into the 2023 NFL season is the New York Jets.
They had an outstanding offseason in which they finally found a franchise quarterback.
The Jets acquired Aaron Rodgers in a trade with the Green Bay Packers and now the expectations in New York are sky-high.
Many people think the Jets have a chance to compete for a Super Bowl.
They have a strong roster in place and all they were missing from last year was elite quarterback play.
But, ESPN’s FPI does not give the Jets a great chance to bring home the Lombardi trophy.
It thinks the Jets have a 4% chance of winning the Super Bowl, per NFL on ESPN.

Winning the whole thing is never easy, and a lot of things have to go right to make it happen.
But, this situation is similar to when Tom Brady first joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
They had a strong roster in place but needed a quarterback to get them over the top.
Rodgers has one Super Bowl championship in his career and his legacy would benefit from another.
But, getting to the Super Bowl will not be easy in the AFC.
Even making it out of the AFC East will be a difficult task.
The Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, and New England Patriots are all teams that can contend for a playoff spot.
Seeing how this division shakes out will be invigorating.
It all begins in Week 1 with the Jets and Bills on Monday Night Football to see who takes the early season lead.
