Quarterback Jalen Hurts should like the changes happening with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Key additions on defense like Haason Reddick, Kyzir White, and James Bradberry should help maintain any lead they build.
But he should be elated for having wide receivers Zach Pascal and A.J. Brown.
Those two wideouts will join DeVonta Smith and Quez Watkins in what is shaping up to be a solid receiving unit.
Philadelphia also boasts a potent rushing attack with Miles Sanders, Boston Scott, and Kenneth Gainwell.
With all these targets around him, Hurts should do better than his performance last season.
This time, as 94WIP.com reporter Eliot Shorr-Parks said, Hurts should elevate his goal for this campaign.
Jalen Hurts must win a playoff game next season to be the #Eagles QB in 2023. Just making the playoffs won’t be enough for Eagles to commit. Has to win a playoff game.

Shorr-Parks tweeted, “Jalen Hurts must win a playoff game next season to be the #Eagles QB in 2023. Just making the playoffs won’t be enough for Eagles to commit. Has to win a playoff game.”
The jury is still out on Hurts being the Eagles’ long-term solution under center.
Without question, he is a better option than Carson Wentz, whom the Eagles once traded to the Indianapolis Colts.
But consistency in the passing game should be his priority.
The offensive linemen and their running backs will find ways to keep the ground game going.
However, Hurts must manifest his passing accuracy.
That way, the Eagles will win more games and make a deep playoff run.
Now Or Never For Hurts
He must show marked improvement to retain his position.
Otherwise, the Eagles will use one of their first-round picks in 2023 to select a quarterback.
Unlike the 2022 class, the 2023 pool shows more promise with the likes of C.J. Stroud, Bryce Young, Spencer Rattler, and Will Levis.
Therefore, Philadelphia could draft his replacement if Hurts doesn’t make the team feel secured at quarterback.
Once that happens, the clock will be ticking on his tenure as the starter.
