The Philadelphia Eagles haven’t made the rounds for the best reasons lately.
Instead of having people talk about their winning streak or how they hung on to beat the Carolina Panthers, the narrative centered around A.J. Brown’s relationship with Jalen Hurts.
Following their win, Brown claimed that the passing game needed to improve, and some people took it as a shot at his quarterback.
Things didn’t get any better when DE Brandon Graham said on the radio that they were no longer friends and needed to leave their issues aside from what goes on on the field.
That’s why the team held a meeting, and according to a report by Jay Glazer (via Ari Meirov), the veteran defensive end apologized for stirring the pot with his comments.

Brown and Hurts also dapped up and made it loud and clear that it was all cool.
Brown had stated that his comments were misinterpreted, as he talked about the passing game as a whole and not about Hurts’ performances.
Then again, everybody saw and heard what he said and how he said it.
The players don’t have to be best friends; they just need to be professionals and do their jobs.
Still, props to the Eagles for addressing this issue before it escalated.
They didn’t need this kind of distraction at this point in the season, especially now that they’re riding high and playing their best football in a while.
