The Philadelphia Eagles had a sensational regular season last year, but their hopes of winning the Super Bowl ended in heartbreaking fashion.
They held a 10-point halftime lead over Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs at halftime of the Super Bowl, only to lose in the closing seconds on a field goal by Harrison Butker.
The Eagles are hoping they will avenge that loss this season as they continue training camp.
Head coach Nick Sirianni says that quarterback Jalen Hurts has improved in terms of his execution and consistency so far in camp this year, via NFL Network.

Last year was a coming-out party for Hurts, as he made the Pro Bowl for the first time and led Philly to 14 wins in the 15 regular season games he played in.
He threw for 3,701 yards and 22 touchdowns while completing 66.5 percent of his passes, and he made the Pro Bowl for the first time.
Hurts, who is one of the very best dual-threat QBs in the NFL, also added 760 yards and 13 touchdowns on the ground.
The Eagles may have lost running back Miles Sanders and defensive tackle Javon Hargrave this offseason, but many are still picking them to win the NFC and return to the Super Bowl this winter.
In order to do so, they will have to contend with both the Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers, both of whom possess improved rosters and are hungry for their first world championship since the mid-1990s.
The 49ers lost to the Eagles in last season’s NFL Championship Game, and they managed to sign Hargrave a few months ago.
