The debate over the greatest quarterback of all time in the NFL seems to be over for many people, with the consensus being that Tom Brady, formerly of the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, has a sizable edge over everyone that came before and after him.
With seven Super Bowl titles to his credit, before he recently walked away from the game, Brady’s resume is far and away better than others in the conversation, like Joe Montana and Peyton Manning.
Even if you combine the titles won between Montana (4) and Manning (2), Brady still tops them with seven, which is telling.
However, even though it’s not a debate for most NFL fans, former Indianapolis Colts star Dwight Freeney believes Manning is the greatest quarterback of all time, as he said on the I AM ATHLETE Podcast.
🗣️ IT’S NOT ALL ABOUT RINGS‼️
And according to @DwightFreeney, Peyton Manning is the GREATEST QB of All Time 🐐

Freeney is a little biased here, as he spent most of his career as Manning’s teammate in Indianapolis and has a Super Bowl title due to playing with the Hall of Famer in a Colts uniform.
However, the same is likely the case for Brady, with a lot of his former teammates almost certainly going with him as the greatest quarterback of all time.
The problem here is if you put the resumes of these two legends side by side, it isn’t much of a comparison, with Brady having the edge in many categories, but everyone is entitled to their opinions, especially in these debates that never seem to end.
