No one is denying that the Phoenix Suns have a lot of talent.
They are only a season removed from their latest Finals appearance and they had yet another stellar regular season recently, claiming the top spot in the West.
In the end, they literally dropped the ball and fell apart against the Dallas Mavericks, ending their season in a way that few people expected.
But before that happened, many guys on the team were doing tremendous work.

Take Devin Booker, for example: his 26.8 points, 5 rebounds, and 4.8 assists a game marked a career-high.
Obviously, Booker deserves so much credit but some praise also needs to be directed to his teammate, Chris Paul.
Booker is just the latest All-Star to have his best scoring season next to Paul.
In the past, Tyson Chandler had his best when he was paired with Paul.
Then David West, DeAndre Jordan, and James Harden hit their strides with CP3 too.
The guy just has a way of bringing the best out of people.
Assisting All-Stars
There is no “I” in team and no one knows that better than Paul.
He has always put heavy emphasis on helping his teammates play at their peaks and is now known as one of the greatest players when it comes to assists.
His assist record for the 2021-22 season was 10.8 a game, a hair over his career average of 9.5.
This is what people talk about when they speak of team leaders: Paul is the sort of athlete looking out for his peers and not just his very own point total.
Paul’s hard work and the rest of the team’s skill is why the Suns should still be considered a huge threat, no matter how last season ended.
