After three seasons with the New York Knicks, it appears veteran point guard Derrick Rose has played his last game for the iconic franchise in the Big Apple and will likely head elsewhere in NBA free agency this summer.
Although competing for an NBA title is likely Rose’s top priority at this point in his career, the former NBA MVP might have the opportunity to return home to where his professional playing career began.
According to Marc Stein, along with a few title-contending teams like the Phoenix Suns and Milwaukee Bucks, Rose could receive some interest in free agency from the Chicago Bulls.
The Bulls are expected to be interested in signing Derrick Rose, per @TheSteinLine

Rose has bounced around the league quite a bit since the Bulls traded him to the Knicks in 2016, as he has played for five teams in his career thus far, with two stints in New York.
Unfortunately for Rose, who was once considered to be one of the top players in the league, especially during his time in Chicago, injuries have been a persistent problem and have prevented him from reaching his true potential as a superstar in this league.
Despite the constant injury issues and only playing in 88 games in three seasons in New York, Rose continues to get interest from teams looking to bring in some veteran help to bolster their backcourt.
The Bulls are dealing with a disappointing situation with Lonzo Ball, who may have played his last game in the NBA due to persistent knee problems, leaving a serious void in the backcourt, which Rose could fill on a short-term basis.
