The Utah Jazz have made a lot of moves over the past couple of years, as Danny Ainge and company have signaled that the franchise is in rebuilding mode after not being able to get it done with the duo of Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert.
With the Jazz moving on from Mitchell and Gobert last summer in massive trades, the consensus has been that it will take years for Utah to get back to form as a perennial playoff team in the Western Conference.
That might not be the case as the team has made some solid moves that have already started to pay off, and are fresh off another move, which may have turned their frontcourt into one of the best in the NBA.
On Monday, the Jazz acquired John Collins in a deal with the Atlanta Hawks in which Utah didn’t give up much for a talented 25-year-old forward.
Now the Jazz have Lauri Markkanen, Walker Kessler (last season’s breakout player) and Collins leading the way in the frontcourt.

If the Jazz can keep Jordan Clarkson, they will have a stacked starting five with Collin Sexton running the point guard position.
Utah may have been planning for a five-year rebuild, but this team already looks talented enough to compete for a playoff spot in the West next season.
Only time will tell if the new-look Jazz can make some noise during the 2023-24 NBA season, but as of right now, the team is looking pretty good on paper.
