With the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat going the distance to seven games, all the headlines have obviously been focused on this series.
However, as much as some people have seemingly forgotten about the other team, there’s another franchise that has already clinched its berth on the ultimate stage.
That’s why the Denver Nuggets’ social media team took the liberty of reminding everyone that they’re still in contention while their two foes from the Eastern Conference continue to battle it out.

The Nuggets didn’t need more than just four games to take care of business and secure their spot on the biggest stage in all of basketball, and they couldn’t be happier to see this series go the distance.
The NBA would’ve gone eight days without a single game if the Heat had swept the Celtics, so they should also be happy to see this series shockingly go this far.
The Heat looked like the much better team in the first three games of the series, up to the point where some felt like the Celtics were just giving up and tapping out.
The Celtics have stormed right back to show again why they were the oddsmakers’ favorites to represent the Eastern Conference in the NBA Finals this season, and they should be heavily favored again to become the first team in NBA history to overcome a 0-3 deficit in the playoffs.
Even so, the Nuggets look like a much better team than both of them right now, and they’re well-rested and with more than plenty of time to watch film on both of their potential rivals.
