DeAndre Hopkins was recently released by the Arizona Cardinals, and the star wide receiver remains a free agent with about a month to go before the start of NFL training camps.
He has reportedly met with the Tennessee Titans and New England Patriots, and one has to reasonably expect that at least one other team will be seriously interested in his services.
Hopkins took to Twitter to let it be known that he will make life easier for the wide receivers he will end up playing alongside this coming season.
Whoever’s in my future wide receiver group. I promise I will make your job easy.

The South Carolina native may now be 31 years of age, but he should still have plenty of high-level football left in his tank.
Despite playing in just nine games last season, he managed to post 717 yards, and as recently as 2020, he had 1,407 yards on the season.
By drawing plenty of defensive attention, he could allow at least one wide receiver teammate of his to get easier touches, as defensive backs won’t be as concerned with that teammate as they are about Hopkins.
If Hopkins joins the Patriots, he will join JuJu Smith-Schuster, a productive wideout who helped the Kansas City Chiefs win the Super Bowl last season and had 933 yards during the regular season.
On the other hand, playing for the Titans would mean giving them a legitimate wideout that they sorely lack.
Star running back Dalvin Cook, who is also currently a free agent, said it would be “epic” if he gets to play on the same team as Hopkins.
However, given how restrictive the salary cap is, such a scenario is unlikely to become a reality.
