Five-time All-Pro wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins remains without an NFL team almost two weeks after the Arizona Cardinals surprisingly released him after failing to find a trade partner.
With Hopkins still a free agent in the free agency process, a lot of people have started to wonder whether there are some red flags preventing another team from signing him, as on paper, he’s still among the elite class of receivers in the league.
Although it is still a bit of a head-scratcher why Hopkins remains a free agent considering his resume and capabilities, the veteran wide receiver isn’t staying quiet and recently responded to a tweet that praised him in a lot of different areas amid recent criticism that he’s not the same player.

Hopkins has two team visits set up with once-prominent NFL franchises in the New England Patriots and Tennessee Titans.
In the post-Tom Brady era, the Patriots have struggled to find a way back to being the dominant force of old in the AFC, with head coach Bill Belichick potentially coaching for his job this season or in the near future.
As for the Titans, it would be safe to assume that the team is considering rebuilding and has already made moves to show that, with the team recently drafting Will Levis as Ryan Tannehill’s successor.
Although the addition of Hopkins would almost certainly make both of these teams better, it likely isn’t where he wants to end up at 30 years old if he’s looking to win a title.NEXT: Former Teammate Makes A Strong Statement About DeAndre Hopkins
