The New York Jets started the week with a bang.
Following their loss to the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football, they went all-in to make sure to get Davante Adams.
Even so, as much as Joe Douglas and Woody Johnson may have taken things up a notch in trade talks after the loss, it seems like Adams was well aware of his next destination long before the transaction actually took place.
As shown by Dov Kleiman on X, the star wide receiver already has some custom cleats in place for his debut with the Jets on Sunday night.

Adams is fully expected to be on the field when the Jets face the Pittsburgh Steelers, which is yet another reason to think he already knew what was going to happen.
He missed the past couple of games with a hamstring injury, and while the recovery timeline makes it seem as if he could be back to full strength, the fact that he got hurt shortly before requesting a trade raised some eyebrows among Las Vegas Raiders fans.
Adams must be ecstatic to be reunited with Aaron Rodgers and Allen Lazard.
He’s already familiar with Nathaniel Hackett’s offense, and he’s more than used to wreaking havoc with Rodgers by his side.
The Jets, like the Raiders, are also a little dysfunctional and even have the same record as his former team.
Then again, they do have the potential to be one of the strongest teams in the entire league, especially upon his arrival.
