The New York Jets have gotten off to a rocky start in their first six games of the season.
They have been inconsistent on both sides of the ball, which is part of the reason why they are sitting at 2-4.
Whenever a team that has Aaron Rodgers on it is struggling, Rodgers will naturally get a lot of the blame even if he has been performing well.
However, the future Hall of Fame quarterback has not thrown for 300 yards as a Jet, which means former quarterback Zach Wilson is still the last Jets quarterback to throw for at least 300 yards in a game (per insider Steve Palazzolo).

Rodgers came close to throwing for 300+ yards in Monday night’s loss to the Buffalo Bills but fell just shy (294).
Fortunately for Rodgers and this Jets team, they are getting some extra firepower on offense in the form of future Hall of Fame wide receiver Davante Adams.
Gang Green was able to trade for the disgruntled Raiders pass-catcher on Tuesday, and he now joins an offense with his old Green Bay teammates in Rodgers and fellow wide receiver Allen Lazard, along with star wide receiver Garrett Wilson and all-purpose back Breece Hall.
For Rodgers, the four-time MVP and Super Bowl champion clearly still has the arm strength and talent.
Additionally, throwing for 300+ yards doesn’t necessarily guarantee a win or success.
But in the end, seeing Rodgers throw for that many yards could give the offense as a whole a lot of confidence.
