Winning the NBA Championship is not an easy task, but the Los Angeles Lakers have done it 17 times in their rich history.
The Lakers most recently won the title during the 2019-20 NBA season, led by none other than the duo of LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
Fast forward to now, the Lakers have done a great job of improving their roster this summer to compete for the 2023-24 NBA Championship.
In order to win a title, it takes more than just having a good roster, the chemistry and understanding between teammates matter a lot.
Speaking of which, as per Lakers head coach Darvin Ham via Spectrum SportsNet on Twitter, the current players on the roster are pretty serious about winning the championship and haven’t been fooling around with each other.
“They set a great tone with everybody being serious about the work that needs to be put in,” Ham said.
"We have our fair share of fun for sure, but there's not a lot of fooling around or goofing off with this group. They set a great tone with everybody being serious about the work that needs to be put in." 😤 pic.twitter.com/evy7zXmZ2V

There are times when the entire team needs to be serious.
But many players on any given team often crack a few jokes or play some pranks here and there to keep the mood light.
However, as per Ham, the current Lakers roster is utterly serious about winning it all.
Considering the Los Angeles Lakers made it to the 2023 Western Conference Finals, they were undoubtedly a good team last season.
But ahead of the new season, the Lakers have improved astronomically in all aspects.
With a talented roster and great focus, the Lakers have the key ingredients to potentially lifting the Larry O’Brien trophy next year.
The only question remains: can this Lakers team stay healthy enough?
