LeBron James gave Los Angeles Lakers fans a scare when he publicly pondered retiring after getting swept by the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference Finals.
James eventually announced his return for the 2023-24 season at the ESPYs and after a full offseason of rehabbing, he is reportedly looking like his old self so far during training camp.
The superstar enters Year 21 but remains one of the best players in the league, an amazing feat when considering all the minutes and miles on his body.
With all the games he has played, head coach Darvin Ham is making the wise decision to have him sit out the Lakers’ preseason opener against the Golden State Warriors.
The next opportunity for James to suit up will be on Monday when they take on the Brooklyn Nets in Las Vegas.
When James touches down in Sin City, he’ll be taking in even more basketball as he is reportedly set to make an appearance with some teammates to Game 1 of the 2023 WNBA Finals between the Las Vegas Aces and New York Liberty via Andraya Carter of ESPN.

It’s no surprise that James will be in attendance for this game as the Aces and Liberty were on a collision course for the Finals.
Both squads feature several of the biggest names in the women’s game, including A’Ja Wilson and Breanna Stewart who were named the WNBA’s Defensive Player of the Year and Most Valuable Player, respectively.
Basketball fans are going to want to join James and tune in to a Finals matchup against two heavyweights as it should go down as one of the best series in WNBA history.
