Even though he isn’t a member of the New York Giants anymore, Daniel Jones is still connected to his former teammates.
He reportedly sent all of his former offensive linemen a gift, as quarterbacks around the league traditionally do at this time of the season.
This comes after he was benched and eventually released by the Giants last month, which made way for him to sign with the Minnesota Vikings.
“Daniel Jones with a class move. He may not be the Giants QB anymore but … he sent all the offensive linemen who were on the roster with him a limited edition bottle of Clase Azul,” Jordan Raanan of ESPN wrote on X.

That is the definition of a leader and a great teammate.
Jones felt the need to get his former linemen gifts after all they had been through in the Big Apple this season and in previous seasons.
The former first-round pick could have been bitter about how things ended with the Giants.
Instead, he chose to recognize those who protected him on every single play that he took a snap.
It just goes to show you who he was when he was in that locker room.
Now, Jones will look to reinvigorate his career in Minnesota or with another team after this season comes to an end.
If he is not chosen to be a starter next season with whatever team he is on, perhaps he could end up being a backup.
Of course, that is what was said about Sam Darnold after it did not work out with the New York Jets and Carolina Panthers earlier in his career.
Sometimes, it is all about the situation, and Jones is just looking for the right fit.
