Ever since taking over for Tony Romo in 2016, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has been one of the NFL’s better players at his position.
He has made the Pro Bowl twice while taking his team to the playoffs four times in his seven pro seasons.
Still, Prescott has his fair share of critics who say he isn’t a big-game player and is mistake-prone.
But he does hold an NFL record with four other QBs: the most consecutive seasons as the starting signal-caller on a team that averaged at least 30 points per game when he was under center.
He will look to continue that streak in 2023 and become the sole owner of that record.

The Cowboys have been a very strong team over the last couple of seasons, and they went 12-5 in both of the last two seasons while finishing first and fourth, respectively, in points scored.
Prescott missed five games early last season and 11 games in the 2020 campaign, and the drop off in the team’s offense was startling.
But he is far from a perfect QB, and one can start with his tendency to throw the ball away.
Last season, he led the NFL in interceptions with 15 in the regular season, and in Dallas’ Divisional round loss to the San Francisco 49ers, he had two interceptions.
Another concern for the team is the loss of offensive coordinator Kellen Moore, who now holds that role with the Los Angeles Chargers.
Still, with the addition of wide receiver Brandin Cooks alongside CeeDee Lamb, the Cowboys should be in the mix for the NFC title this fall and winter.NEXT: A Cowboys Legend Is Celebrating A Special Day
