The Michigan Wolverines will continue to be a big source of NFL talent.
The reigning National Champions will host their Pro Day later on Friday and, as expected, there will be no shortage of NFL personnel and staffers in attendance.
Notably, Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy will be one of the most prominent figures visiting Ann Arbor today, according to a report by Jon Machota of The Athletic.
He points out that the Cowboys used their first two picks on Michigan players last season, and named G Zak Ginter, RB Bake Corum, DT Kris Jenkins, WR Roman Wilson, LB Junior Colson, and CB Mike Sainristil as Wolverines that could potentially be in the league next season.
Needless to say, QB J.J. McCarthy will steal most of the headlines, and the fact that McCarthy will be in attendance to watch him shouldn’t be overlooked.

While it’s highly unlikely that the Cowboys will be able to trade up and get him, watching them assess options at the quarterback position is interesting.
Of course, not doing it would be a disservice and flat-out not doing his job, so perhaps people shouldn’t read too much into that.
Then again, with Dak Prescott set to become the highest-paid player in NFL history, it’s only normal to see them trying to gauge the market to see whether they should sign him to that extension or not.
For now, however, it seems like their hands are tied and they just don’t have much of a choice at this point.
