The Dallas Cowboys aren’t a better team now than they were last season.
If anything, one might argue that they got slightly worse.
Team owner Jerry Jones vowed to go ‘all-in’ in the offseason, yet nothing happened, and it took them — literally — days to make a move in free agency.
That came on the heels of a disappointing end of the season, and the fans were in disbelief at the fact that they didn’t fire Mike McCarthy after one of the most heartbreaking losses in franchise history.
That’s why former NFL QB Dan Orlovsky argues that this team is in a tough spot right now (via Get Up and Dov Kleiman).
Dan Orlovksy thinks the #Cowboys should have "moved on from everyone" after their playoff loss to the #Packers

Orlovsky claims the Cowboys should’ve moved on from everybody after that loss, Dak Prescott included.
He stated that players usually waive no-trade clauses when the situation is right, and they could’ve gotten him to another place to get rid of him and his massive cap hit.
Keeping McCarthy was a shocking move, especially considering the fact that Jones had said that he would evaluate his future on a game-to-game basis in the playoffs.
As for Prescott, Orlovsky states that he — just like the rest of the team — has peaked already, and this will be as good as it gets for them.
That definitely seems to be the case in Arlington.
They couldn’t get the job done in Prescott’s best season, not even with home-field advantage through the first two rounds of the playoffs, so it’s hard to think the future will be any better.
