Disaster might strike twice for the Indianapolis Colts with their head coaching hiring process.
The team has a list of eight people who are part of the team’s second round of interviews.
However, the team might have a third round of interviews if they need to narrow the list down.
One person who is part of the second round list is Jeff Saturday, their current interim head coach.
With him still in the running, NFL beat writer Art Stapleton tweets a dire message for fans of the Colts.
Gonna be awesome if they re-hire Jeff Saturday after all this https://t.co/xzpcZ8xd3J

While he jokingly sees a re-hiring of Saturday as “awesome,” fans in Indianapolis don’t feel the same.
However, with Saturday having a friendship with team owner Jim Irsay, he keeps himself in the hiring process.
While the current interim head coach had a disastrous coaching record, he’s still in the running for the head coaching job.
Despite his lack of any prior professional coaching experience, Irsay is keeping him in these interviews.
With Raheem Morris, Shane Steichen, and Brian Callahan in the running, it’s crazy to think these coaches are in the same line as Saturday.
While the current interim head coach was a wonderful player for the Colts, he’s not the coach they need.
He lacks the experience and knowledge which other coaches have already.
While he can improve, nothing from his time as interim head coach gives fans the feeling he will improve.
If Irsay keeps him as the head coach, then fans will have plenty of questions to ask him about his frame of mind.
