No other team is having a hiring problem like the Indianapolis Colts.
After making the rash decision to have Jeff Saturday as their interim head coach, the team has yet to find a suitable permanent head coach.
While the team has interviewed plenty of candidates, they still aren’t sold on any candidate.
According to Mike Garafolo, the Colts are “considering” doing a third round of interviews.
The #Colts are nearly done with their second round of head coaching interviews and are considering a rare Round 3 as well, sources tell me and @RapSheet. If they go that route, they’d pare down the list to a select few finalists before making their decision on their next HC.

With no one standing out in the first two rounds, it could come down to the third round before the team pulls the trigger on their new head coach.
Eight people were part of the second round, which will probably see several names drop off the list.
However, one name stands out on the list of the second-round candidates.
That person is their current interim head coach.
With Saturday have no prior college or NFL coaching experience, it’s crazy to see him getting a second interview.
But his time with the Colts as an offensive lineman, and being a friend of team owner Jim Irsay, gives him some apparent special treatment.
While other names stand out for the right reasons, Saturday stands out for the wrong reasons.
With him winning only one game as the team’s interim head coach, it’s mind-boggling that he got a second interview.
However, it seems that Irsay has faith in him, as he was around during Saturday’s second interview.
No matter who they pick, the search for their 2023 head coach hasn’t been easy for the Colts.
Fans can only hope the team makes the right choice with their next head coach.
