For many weeks, the Golden State Warriors looked like a total mess and didn’t seem capable of making it to the playoffs.
But they have been performing a lot better lately and seem poised to reach the postseason or at least the Play-In Tournament.
Speaking on The Volume, Colin Cowherd said he considers the Warriors a very “dangerous” team right now.
He noted that they have won seven straight road games and are probably the “smartest team in the league right now.”
In fact, Cowherd is so impressed by them that he’d take the Warriors over the Oklahoma City Thunder if they met in the playoffs.
"That's why I would take them head-to-head over an OKC"

Cowherd said that many young teams, such as the Thunder, are made to play well in the regular season but it’s older and more experienced teams like the Warriors that thrive in the playoffs.
The Warriors have won four championships and are very familiar with how the playoffs look and feel.
They have the experience and expertise that can carry them very far.
Golden State has gone on a strong winning streak during February and has looked like a team that has figured out its problems.
Stars like Klay Thompson have gotten better, injuries have healed, and the Warriors have secured some impressive wins.
They might be rallying at the perfect time and setting themselves up for many more wins in the last few weeks of the regular season.
That being said, they are still the tenth seed in the West, although they could climb higher soon.
Cowherd and many others agree that if the Warriors can make their way into the postseason, they could be a threat to just about any other team.
They haven’t looked it for most of the season but the Warriors are definitely feeling “dangerous.”
