The Chicago Bears have almost all the pieces they need, roster-wise.
Their defense is solid, and they have a lot of talent in terms of skill players.
They desperately need to protect Caleb Williams, which should be their No. 1 priority in the offseason.
First, however, they need to find a head coach.
With that in mind, Colin Cowherd believes it’s about time they make a statement and a big-name hire.
Talking on “The Herd,” he argued that they should only consider hiring Mike Vrabel.

He stated that the Bears have hired “lightweights” and coordinators long enough, so it’s time for them to swing for the fences.
This makes perfect sense, as Vrabel is a hard-nosed coach with proven success and will hold every single one of them accountable.
If they still want to be a defensive-minded team, they can do so under Vrabel.
They also need to find the right offensive coordinator for Caleb Williams, which is why they could also be tempted to go after Ben Johnson or even Kliff Kingsbury, who coached him during his days at USC.
Then again, as much as both options would make some sense, Mike Vrabel is already a proven commodity in the league.
It was somewhat surprising to see the Tennessee Titans part ways with him and, more so, to see him go unhired.
Now, the Bears must make sure he gets in that room and doesn’t leave the meeting without putting pen to paper.
