The Los Angeles Rams won Super Bowl LVI on Sunday, and MLB superstar Clayton Kershaw was there to see it happen.
Kershaw, a current free agent who has spent his entire MLB career with the Los Angeles Dodgers so far, made sure to show some love to Rams fans prior to Sunday’s game.

Kershaw knows a thing or two about winning a title, as he helped the Dodgers win the 2020 World Series.
On Sunday, he was able to experience another title in Los Angeles, but this time, he got to enjoy it from the stands.

Interestingly, Kershaw isn’t a Rams fan.
He was born in Dallas, Texas and is a documented fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
Despite that, he had one big reason to pull for LA on Sunday.
Kershaw And Matthew Stafford Go Way Back
Kershaw has known Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford for quite some time.
The two were childhood friends and even played on the same little league baseball team.

Given that, it’s no surprise that Kershaw was seen wearing Rams gear and pulling for his longtime friend during Sunday’s Super Bowl.
Stafford delivered, as he completed 26 of his 40 passes for 283 yards and three touchdowns.
He also put together a masterful scoring drive in the final minutes of the game to give LA the lead for good.
The 34-year-old quarterback had a sensational season, and he capped it off in spectacular fashion.
It’s pretty cool that Kershaw and Stafford, two childhood friends, were both able to win titles for Los Angeles in their respective sports.
What’s Next For Kershaw?
Kershaw’s MLB future is unclear, but it certainly seems like he still has a soft spot for Los Angeles.
Given everything he has accomplished in Dodger Blue, he likely always will.
But will he find himself pitching for LA when the 2022 MLB season rolls around?
Most Dodgers fans want him back, which is no surprise given his legendary status within the organization.
Kershaw had a frustrating and injury-riddled 2021 season, but even though it wasn’t his best campaign, he still managed to post a 3.55 ERA and 3.00 FIP across 22 starts.
Maybe we’ve seen the last of his Cy Young-caliber years, but he’s still pitching at a level that would make him a huge asset to virtually any rotation in baseball.

One MLB insider thinks Kershaw will pitch for LA again in 2022.
“I am 100 percent confident Clayton Kershaw will be with the Dodgers in 2022,” said MLB insider David Vassegh last month. “That’s my opinion.”
If the five-time ERA champ does return to the Dodgers, he’ll have a chance at winning another World Series.
LA is built like a title team and is currently listed as the betting favorite at most sportsbooks to win the 2022 MLB championship.
Will Kershaw look to add to his Dodgers legacy and perhaps finish his career in Los Angeles?
Only time will tell.
With any luck, the MLB lockout will end soon, at which point free agents (like Kershaw) will be able to determine their landing spots for the 2022 season.
